9810 Next keeps its surfaces clear and puts the detail into the hardware: polished brass at the bases and at the supporting elements that carry each shelf. The brass is structural and decorative at once.

Points of light are integrated into the same supports, so the shelving is lit from within its own structure rather than from a fitting added afterward. The system also serves as a console table.
