4000 Royal is drawn in enveloping curves — the back sweeps round into the sides so the sitter is held rather than simply supported. At a dining table that matters most late in the evening, when people stop sitting upright.

It is finished in the same materials as the 4000 Royal table so the two read as one piece of furniture across a room, and the seat is foam over a shaped frame.
