4200 Circle stands on a ring of pillars rather than legs — a colonnade under a tabletop. Repeating a vertical support around a circle is an architectural device, not a furniture one, and it is what gives this table its weight.

Tops are marble or wood. Marble is the more literal reading of the idea, since the columns then carry stone as they would in the building the table is quoting.
