50 Italo is marked by an asymmetrical line of stitching picked out in a contrasting black outline. Running it off-centre is a deliberate choice — it breaks the symmetry of an otherwise rigorous shape and gives the eye somewhere to land.

Wooden armrests are left exposed against the upholstery, and the base is suspended on turned wooden feet over a foam seat. Italo is a whole family at Vibieffe, extending to an armchair, a dining table, a chair and a bed.
