430 Opera pairs a Canaletto walnut or moka-dyed frame with a marble top, and the marble is chosen rather than given — several types are offered, so the same table can be quiet or emphatic depending on the stone.

The frame is kept fine so the top stays the subject. Detailing at the joints is where the quality of the piece shows; on a table this plain there is nowhere for poor work to hide.
