7000 Anello is a ring that is lit on the inside only. The outer face stays opaque — satin brass or burnished metal — so from most angles the fitting is a dark circle with light contained within it.

Hiding the source inside the ring means the fitting is comfortable to look at directly, and the light it gives is reflected rather than emitted. Form and function arrive at the same answer.
