1650 Cordi swivels on a steel plate fitted with a memory mechanism, so the chair returns to its set position after being turned. On a chair intended to sit in the open part of a room, that is what keeps an arrangement from slowly falling out of order.

The seat is foam on a suspended base with a wooden foot, and the proportions are generous rather than compact — Cordi is meant to be the chair a guest is offered.
