5050 Italo is named for Italo Buccella, who founded Vibieffe. It is offered with two headboards — arranged symmetrically, or deliberately offset against each other — which is the whole decision to make about this bed.

Symmetrical, it is formal and centred. Asymmetrical, the same components become considerably less conventional without any change to the materials or the frame.
