About Argo//Wood Dining table

Design

The Argo//Wood dining table distills the idea of a classic wooden box into a calm, contemporary plane. Designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba for Talenti, it favors restraint over flourish, letting proportion do the work. The rectangle is deliberate, the edges honest, the top flat and generous. Nothing shouts, yet the piece holds the space because it is confident and exacting. It sets the tone for outdoor dining without cluttering the scene.

Materials & Build

Crafted in high-quality Accoya wood, developed from sustainably sourced European aspen, the table is engineered for the outdoors. The material resists warping and rot, keeping its geometry true through heat, cold, and humidity. A distinctive grain moves quietly across the surface, lending texture and a natural, measured character. The stance is steady, the assembly precise. It’s the kind of construction that looks simple because the difficult parts are solved—clean lines, accurate joins, and a reassuring solidity under hand.

Comfort

Comfort at a dining table starts with clear legroom and a surface that remains reliably even. This design focuses on both. Chairs slide in naturally along the long sides, place settings align, and there’s room to center serving pieces without crowding. The feel of real wood matters too. It warms quickly, softening the moment, so conversations tend to linger and meals run long, in the best way. Nothing fussy, just a well-measured platform that keeps gatherings relaxed and easy.

Placement & Lifestyle

The table fits where life happens outdoors: a city terrace, a shaded garden, a breezy rooftop, or a compact backyard. Its quiet profile pairs with structured plantings, poured concrete, or weathered stone just as easily as it does with decking. Dress it with linen and glass for evening service or keep it elemental with everyday ceramics. Either way, the setting feels considered, not staged, and the table reads as part of the architecture rather than a prop.

For a coordinated layout, the Argo//Wood collection includes complementary pieces that echo the same language, making it straightforward to build a cohesive area around the table. Or let it stand alone as the anchor and mix in other textures—woven chairs, metal accents, or soft cushions. It plays well with both approaches, staying present without overpowering the scene.

Longevity

Outdoor furniture should hold up season after season, not just look new on arrival. Accoya supports that goal, standing strong through rain, sun, and temperature swings while keeping the form consistent. The surface ages gracefully and, with sensible care, maintains its shape and presence. Sturdiness and stability aren’t talking points here; they’re felt each time it’s set, cleared, and put back to work. And when the weather turns, it remains composed—ready for the next gathering when the light returns.
