Designed by Jamela Alawneh for Melaaura, the Morbido Bar Stool completes the collection’s dining range at elevated height. Outdoor kitchens, poolside bars, and terrace counters have become the true social centre of the contemporary outdoor room, and this stool is built for exactly that role — the same architectural rigour and engineered comfort as the Morbido dining chairs, raised to where the conversation actually happens.

The structure is solid Grade A teak, the heartwood classification whose density and natural oils make it the definitive material of fine outdoor furniture. Composed in the collection’s language of clean verticals and flat-faced members and sealed with a protective varnish, the frame delivers the stability a bar stool demands — planted, rigid, and reassuring — while weathering as gracefully as every teak piece in the range.

The seat carries the same upholstery engineering as the Morbido Upholstered Dining Chair. A highest-category performance fabric, woven in Spain and backed by a five-year warranty, resists UV fading, moisture, and wear while keeping the refined hand of an interior textile. Beneath it, a hydro-drain foam core lets rainwater drain straight through and air circulate freely, so the seat dries quickly and holds its comfort and shape through years of outdoor service. Fabric colour is specified at the time of order.

Drawn up to an outdoor kitchen island or lined along a pool bar, a run of Morbido stools gives the counter the same considered, composed quality as the rest of the collection — warm teak below, tailored upholstery above, and nothing extraneous anywhere.
