Venice Lovebed

About Venice Lovebed

Design

The Talenti Venice Lovebed rethinks the daybed with a more intimate footprint. Designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba, it keeps the generous lounging attitude while trimming the excess. Lines stay clean, low, and welcoming. The silhouette reads nautical without leaning into theme. Just calm, balanced proportions that sit beautifully in open air.

Shorter than a classic daybed, it still invites two to unwind, or one to fully stretch. Width comes in at 79.1 inches, depth at 57.5 inches, height at 23.6 inches, giving it substance without crowding the space. It feels considered, purposeful, and easy to live with.

Materials & Build

A wood frame in a natural teak color sets the tone—warm, grounded, and quietly refined. The structure is straightforward and solid, made to carry real use. Fabric cushions complete the piece, with coverings available in cordonetto beige or dark grey to suit different palettes. Nothing fussy. Everything thought through.

It is not stackable, and it ships as a single piece, as it should for a statement lounge. A fitted cover is available for added protection when needed. Weight is 185.2 lb, reassuring in the best way.

Comfort

This is where it earns its name. The seat height sits at 18.1 inches (USA spec) for an easy, natural perch. Cushion height is 9.4 inches, giving that soft-first impression before the support comes in. The platform is broad enough for side-by-side lounging, yet keeps conversation close. And it works just as well for a long afternoon alone with a book.

The proportions do the heavy lifting: generous depth, a wide expanse of cushion, and a low center of gravity that makes settling in feel immediate. No learning curve, no searching for the right angle.

Placement & Lifestyle

The Venice Lovebed moves effortlessly from poolside to terrace to a shaded garden corner. It plays well with crisp architectural settings and relaxed coastal spaces alike. Pair it with a low table and lanterns, or let it stand alone as the quiet anchor of an outdoor zone. It’s equally suited to hospitality decks and private rooftops, thanks to its measured scale and visual ease.

The mood nods to yachting without shouting. Sun, salt air, long weekends—it fits that rhythm. But it also looks right in a city courtyard where greenery is curated and space matters.

Longevity

Durability is built in through the sturdy wood frame and performance-minded fabric options. Keep the cover on hand to extend the finish between seasons or during storms. Simple care, regular cleaning, and mindful placement will keep it looking sharp for years.

Because restraint ages well. And when the form is this clear, updates are as simple as switching cushion color. The result is a piece that stays relevant, not just present, season after season.
