9350 Him & Her is a pair, and the pairing is the design: two tables of deliberately minimal dimensions that work either side of a sofa, or together on one side.

Both are kept very small — sized for a glass, a phone and a book, not for a lamp and a stack of magazines. That restriction is what lets two of them sit in the space one ordinary side table would occupy.
