About Venice Double sunbed
Design
The Venice Double Sunbed brings the quiet confidence of considered design to open air living. Low, broad, and visually light, its floating base nods to the easy glide of boats along Venetian canals without getting lyrical about it. The proportions feel deliberate: a generous platform measuring 69.3 inches wide by 78.0 inches deep, standing at 16.1 inches high. It reads as one calm, continuous volume, softened by rounded cushions that take the edge off crisp lines.
Drawn by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba, the piece sits comfortably within the Venice collection while standing on its own. Nothing shouts. Everything works together. And that restraint is what makes it versatile.
Materials & Build
A solid teak frame gives the structure its strength and character. The wood is chosen for outdoor use, with natural resistance that keeps its poise in sun and weather. Joints are tight and clean, the surfaces smoothly finished, the silhouette kept minimal so the material can speak. Cushions are upholstered in outdoor fabric designed to handle fading and wear without fuss. In natural teak with textiles offered in beige or dark grey, the palette stays easy to live with. The sunbed arrives as a single piece, is not stackable, and a tailored cover is available for added protection.
Comfort
The Venice Double Sunbed is built for long stretches of doing very little, very well. Cushions with rounded edges invite a relaxed posture; the cushion height is 9.4 inches, while the seat sits at approximately 18.1 inches, so getting on and off is effortless. Support is balanced—plush enough to sink in, firm enough to feel secure. Shared space is the point here. Two people can lounge without negotiating territory, or one can fully stretch out with room to spare. And when the afternoon runs long, it still feels good.
Placement & Lifestyle
This is the piece that settles a pool edge, a rooftop, or a quiet corner of the garden. It pairs naturally with other elements from Talenti’s Venice family if a coordinated setting is the goal, but it also works alongside existing teak or powder-coated furniture thanks to its relaxed profile and neutral textiles. Beige brightens a sunlit terrace; dark grey grounds a shaded deck. It’s substantial enough to anchor a space, yet refined enough not to overwhelm it. Set it by water, under a pergola, or on a wide balcony and it simply becomes the spot everyone gravitates to.
Longevity
Built on teak and outdoor fabric engineered for resilience, the Venice Double Sunbed is made to age gracefully. The wood can be left to weather to a silver tone or oiled to maintain its warm hue—either approach works. Fabrics resist fading and abrasion, supporting everyday use season after season. A protective cover is available to keep things clean between guests or through a storm. At about 220 lb, the piece feels reassuringly planted, yet it remains easy to care for. Thought-through details and honest materials do the rest, so the Talenti Venice Double Sunbed stays as inviting in year five as it does on day one.
