Design

Conceived by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba, the Nalu Lovebed by Talenti rethinks the classic daybed with a softer, more intimate silhouette. The curved, enveloping backrest forms a natural nook, inviting one to stretch out or lean in together. Scaled for easy placement yet generous where it counts, its footprint measures approximately 67 in W x 55.1 in D x 31.1 in H, with a seat height of 16.9 in. It feels considered, never fussy. Purposeful lines, smooth volumes, and a relaxed posture—nothing shouts, everything works.

Materials & Build

A painted aluminum frame gives the structure its clean geometry and everyday resilience. Light in look, solid in use. The cushions are dressed in outdoor fabric that holds its shape and feels good to the touch. Colors are curated, not crowded: red barrè, graphite grey barrè, blue-green barrè, and ivory-beige barrè. Each tone nods to nature and pairs easily with stone, timber, or concrete. The piece weighs about 117 lb, substantial enough to stay put, easy enough to position with care.

Comfort

The Nalu Lovebed is built for quiet hours and shared pauses. The embracing curve supports the back at a natural angle, while the seat’s depth encourages a long lounge rather than a quick sit. Cushions have presence without bulk, with a 7.9 in profile that feels plush but controlled. Armrests at 23.2 in give a comfortable perch for a book or an elbow. It’s a compact footprint, yet the lounging surface is generous, so one can curl up or stretch out without compromise.

Placement & Lifestyle

Poolside, it reads effortless. On a terrace, it softens edges and draws the eye. In a larger garden setting, it anchors a corner without demanding attention from the landscape. The palette helps. Graphite grey barrè blends into architectural schemes, ivory-beige barrè warms shaded areas, blue-green barrè nods to water, and red barrè brings a measured pop. Pair it with a low side table or let it stand alone. Either way, it sets a calm tempo for mornings, late afternoons, and everything between.

Longevity & Care

Engineered for outdoor living, the painted aluminum frame and outdoor fabric are selected to perform in open-air conditions with routine care. A protective cover is available for off-season or when weather turns, and the piece is non-stackable to preserve its sculpted form. Wipe down as needed, avoid harsh abrasives, and allow cushions to dry after use. Kept simple, it stays looking composed season after season—exactly as it should for a piece meant to be lived with, not hovered over.
