1390 Essence separates structure from cushion and lets both show. The framework is Canaletto walnut, offered in moka tones, and the cushions sit within it as distinct compact blocks rather than being wrapped over it.

Those cushions are compact polyurethane foam, cut to a deliberately minimal profile — there is no overstuffing to soften the join between wood and upholstery. The balance between the two is the design; remove either and nothing is left.
