About 1000 Fast Armchair
1000 Fast is a small armchair built from a wooden structure that wraps around a single soft cushion. The timber does the shaping and the cushion simply fills it — which is why the chair reads as light despite being genuinely deep to sit in.
The cushion is feather-filled, softer than the foam used across most of the range, on a suspended base with turned wooden feet. Feather is the right call here: the wooden surround holds the outline, so the fill is free to be soft.
Designed by Gianluigi Landoni. Sized for a reading corner or a bedroom rather than a main seating group.
Vibieffe builds to order in Italy. Upholstery, frame finish and foot are specified per order. Visit the Melaaura showroom at 156 S Robertson Blvd, Los Angeles, or contact us for pricing, fabric samples and lead times.
