Designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba, the Talenti Scacco modular sofa brings quiet geometry to relaxed lounging. Rounded modules soften the profile, while the frame stays sleek and light on the eye. A signature detail anchors the look: rope is woven around the metal structure to draw a subtle check motif that adds depth without shout. The result feels open, airy, and composed. And never heavy.

Flexibility sits at the core. Central modules slide into new roles in seconds, forming easy arcs, confident curves, or straight runs as the plan demands. Add the “drop” modules to loosen the outline and create natural breaks between seats. The system adapts to the room rather than asking the room to adapt to it.

Materials & build

The structure is a refined metal frame wrapped with a carefully tensioned rope weave, creating the distinctive check pattern. Upholstery uses weather-resistant fabrics chosen for daily use and straightforward care. Seat cushions feature quick-dry foam that allows the piece to return to form quickly after use. Surfaces feel considered and durable, with finishes selected to play well with light neutrals, graphite tones, and warmer notes.
