Alpha is a chair defined almost entirely by its backrest — an upholstered volume that tilts forward towards the seat until the two nearly meet.

That inclination introduces a deliberate asymmetry, and it is what gives Alpha its unconventional character. The backrest continues down along one side of the seat in an unbroken line, taking on the role of an armrest as it goes. The result holds its identity in a dining room but sits just as comfortably in a study or a lounge.

The frame is solid wood, rectangular in section with softened edges. Upholstery is available in fabric, leather or eco-leather.
