9575 Xenia is a solid volume rather than a frame with a top — a console with real mass, its faces worked into sinuous curves and its top cut from marble.

Curving both the timber body and the stone top is difficult work, and it is what separates this from a straight-sided console. The piece is designed to hold the wall the way a fireplace does: as a fixed point a room arranges itself around.

Designed by Gianluigi Landoni. The Xenia line also includes a night table, a vanity and a bench.
