9528 Self has a solid steel structure wrapped entirely in leather — there is no exposed metal anywhere on the finished piece. Covering a whole frame in hide is slow work, and it is the only thing this table is about.

The leather is offered in a range of shades from light to dark. Because the covering is continuous, the table takes on wear as one surface rather than at edges and corners.
