4150 Twist swivels. The seat turns on a glossy lacquered metal base, which on a dining chair is unusual — it makes getting in and out of a chair pushed up to a table considerably easier, particularly at a round table.

The lacquered base is deliberately reflective against the matt upholstery above it, and the rotation echoes the turning base of the matching 4150 Twist table.
