About 1355 Timeless Armchair
1355 Timeless keeps each part of the chair legible. Seat, back, arm and base are clearly bounded rather than blended into one upholstered mass, and each is shaped for what it actually does — the arm to be leaned on, the back to be leaned into.
The base is suspended on turned wooden feet, with a foam seat. Because the components read separately, the chair takes a two-tone upholstery scheme well, with the back in one material and the seat in another.
From the Timeless collection by Gianluigi Landoni, where the design is meant to be driven by the material rather than applied over it.
