65 Eva is a modular system in which the backrests and armrests are not structural panels but large loose cushions, each resting against a horizontal wooden cylinder. The cylinder does the supporting; the cushions simply lean. The result reads as a pile of soft volumes rather than an upholstered box.

Seats are foam over a wood frame, and the whole system sits on a floor-level base, so Eva has visual weight and stays low. Because the back and arm cushions are independent, a run can be reconfigured — arm on the left, arm on the right, or neither — without new upholstery.
