Materials and Build

What makes the Hydra collection interesting is range. The top is available in glass, high-gloss lacquer, marble, or solid wood, and each version shifts the character of the piece entirely. Marble options include Calacatta Gold, Nero Marquinia, Rosso Levanto, Verde Lepanto, Emperador Brown, and Calizia Capri. The lacquered finishes come in Ecru, Black, Red, and Verdigris. Veneered tops run from Natural Oak to Oak stained Canaletto Walnut, a black open-pore oak, and two decorative finishes called Rain and Cloudy. Glass tops come in bronze or graphite tones.

Legs are offered in lacquered or veneered finishes to match or contrast with the top, and thermoplastic polymer glides protect floors. The collection spans six sizes: a large round at roughly 47 inches in diameter, a smaller round at about 27.5 inches, two taller side-table formats at approximately 19 inches across by 17.7 or 23.6 inches tall, a square at around 39 by 39 inches, and a rectangular option at about 59 by 35.4 inches. Weights vary with material. The rectangular marble version, for instance, comes in at around 167 lbs, while the same size in lacquer is closer to 75 lbs.
