About Elton Sofa 310
Designed to Anchor a Room
The Elton Sofa 310 from Talenti is a large-scale piece that doesn’t try to hide its presence. At roughly 122 inches wide, it commands attention through proportion alone. The lines are clean, the volumes full, and the overall silhouette strikes a balance between bold and restrained. It looks substantial without feeling heavy-handed. That’s a difficult thing to get right at this size, and the Elton manages it well.
Materials and Construction
Underneath the upholstery sits a frame built from multi-layered wood with a solid wood border. It’s a construction method that provides rigidity where it matters and flexibility where it doesn’t. The padding is high-density differentiated polyurethane foam layered with polyester fiber, which means the seat keeps its shape over time rather than bottoming out after a few months.
The feet are tubular steel capped with thermoplastic polymer, available in four lacquered gloss finishes: Ecru, Black, Red, and Verdigris. The adjustable armrest and backrest mechanism runs on galvanized steel. At approximately 298 pounds, this is not a sofa that shifts when someone sits down. Upholstery options span multiple fabric categories from A through LUX, along with leather in Category F and Category G LUX.
Comfort That Holds Up
The seat height sits at around 16 inches, with cushions adding roughly 12 inches on top of that. It’s a deep seat, built for sinking in. The back cushions are filled with polyester fiber, soft enough to lean into but structured enough to offer real support. And the adjustable armrests and backrests let each person fine-tune their position. It’s the kind of sofa that quietly encourages people to stay longer than they planned.
Where It Belongs
A sofa this size needs room to breathe. It works best in open living areas, lofts, or large family rooms where it can serve as the focal point without crowding the space. The Elton 310 is the piece the rest of the room arranges itself around. It’s naturally social, with enough seating to host a full conversation without anyone perched on an armrest.
But it also holds its own in quieter moments. Stretched out on a Sunday afternoon, it feels just as purposeful as it does during a dinner party.
Built to Last
The combination of solid wood framing, high-density foam, and galvanized steel hardware suggests this sofa was engineered for years of daily use. The differentiated foam densities mean the areas that take the most wear are reinforced accordingly. Upholstery is fully removable across all fabric and leather options, which makes maintenance straightforward. Talenti has built the Elton to age well, not just look good on delivery day.
