About Salinas Daybed

Design

The Talenti Salinas Daybed, designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba, brings outdoor lounging down to the essential lines that matter. A generous square footprint—about 78.7 inches wide and 78.7 inches deep—meets a matching overall height, creating a calm, architectural presence. The canopy reads light and open, more frame than volume, so the piece sits quietly in a space rather than overpowering it. Subtle detailing keeps the silhouette clean, with proportions that feel deliberate and effortless at once.

Materials & Build

A durable aluminum frame anchors the structure, keeping weight substantial—about 214 pounds—so it feels planted on a deck or terrace. Surfaces are smooth and precise, with junctions that look considered instead of busy. Cushions are finished in outdoor-ready fabric, tailored with crisp edges and consistent seams. Finishes are available in thoughtful pairings, from white with white‑beige to graphite with textile tones such as white‑beige, Mambo Pearl, or Ocean, allowing the piece to dial up contrast or stay quiet, depending on the setting. It ships as a single piece. Not stackable, by design.

Comfort

Sit low, unwind fast. The seat height lands around 11 inches, encouraging a naturally reclined posture, while the cushions add roughly 6.7 inches of welcoming softness. The proportions work for reading, napping, or simply slowing down after a long day. The canopy provides a gentle sense of enclosure without closing off light or breeze. It’s an island, but not a cocoon.

The padding feels plush yet supportive, so guests don’t sink too far, and the depth makes side-by-side lounging easy. Conversation flows. So does quiet.

Placement & Lifestyle

The Salinas Daybed works best where openness matters: poolside, roof deck, garden, or a private corner of a spacious patio. Its near 79-inch square format defines a zone instantly, ideal for a pair with drinks, a book, or an afternoon playlist. In white, it brightens a coastal scheme. In graphite, it grounds a contemporary courtyard. Move it as a statement, or pair two to frame a view. And if the plan shifts, the scaled canopy helps organize space without adding walls.

Longevity

Built for outdoor use, the aluminum frame and fabric cushions handle everyday exposures with ease when given simple care. A protective cover is available from Talenti for off-season or harsher conditions, keeping surfaces fresh year after year. The weight lends stability in variable weather, and the restrained design means it won’t feel dated next season or the one after. The Salinas Daybed is meant to settle in and stay, aging with the space—not competing with it.
