Nido Sunbed

About Nido Sunbed

Design

The Talenti Nido Sunbed brings an easy, sculpted presence to outdoor lounging. Its silhouette is generous yet calm, with a wide plane that settles into an inviting incline. Lateral weaving nods to classic wicker without feeling nostalgic, giving the piece a warm, crafted edge. Designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba, it reads as modern and familiar at once. Nothing shouts. Everything aligns.

Proportions are thoughtful. The lines stay soft, the corners eased, the overall stance low and grounded. Rear wheels are discreetly integrated so the sunbed shifts when needed, then sits still when not.

Materials & Build

An aluminum frame supports the structure with quiet confidence, keeping weight practical while preserving strength. The woven wrap provides texture and depth, the kind of tactile detail that makes outdoor furniture feel lived-in from day one. The craft shows in the even rhythm of the weave and the tidy junctions. It looks considered because it is.

Finishes are curated, not crowded: a palette built around graphite, wicker fiber, and Inkas White. Each option pairs naturally with stone, timber, concrete, or water—easy to place, easy to style.

Comfort

Nido is built for long stretches of nothing. The seat is wide and the backrest leans at an unforced angle, encouraging a full-body exhale. Cushioning feels substantial without being bulky, measuring about 7.5 inches high. Seat height sits close to 15 inches, which keeps the posture relaxed and the transition in and out smooth.

Overall dimensions bring room to stretch without overpowering a setting: approximately 87.4 inches long, 37.4 inches deep, and 22.4 inches high. It’s spacious, but it stays visually light. Weight is about 64 pounds—solid enough to feel secure, manageable enough to move with the rear wheels.

Placement & Lifestyle

This is a piece for terraces and gardens where the day runs a little slower. The Nido adapts to poolside decks, quiet courtyards, and sunlit balconies, creating a contained, personal refuge. Roll it toward the sun, angle it into the shade, or line up two for a balanced pair. It is not stackable, which preserves the shape and makes each placement feel deliberate.

Finish tones play well with greenery and coastal light. Add a throw or a side table and it becomes a small island of calm. And when the season changes, a dedicated cover is available to keep everything in good order.

Longevity

Every choice here supports outdoor living. Aluminum resists the usual wear of open-air environments, while the woven fiber keeps its form and character over time. Fabric cushions are built for daily use and easy care. Treat it well and it will keep its poise.

Delivered as a single piece, the sunbed arrives ready to use—no fuss, no complicated assembly. With simple, regular care and the optional cover when not in use, Nido holds its shape, its comfort, and its understated appeal season after season.
