Nido Daybed

About Nido Daybed

Design

The Nido Daybed by Talenti brings a calm, modern voice to a room. Drawn by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba, its silhouette is clear and unfussy, with a generous oval footprint that settles easily into different layouts. The woven backrest sweeps in a single gesture, then turns and becomes an armrest. It frames the seat, softens the profile, and hints at the nest that inspired the collection.

Proportion does the quiet work here. At approximately 69 in wide and 63 in deep, the daybed invites a stretched-out pause or a compact two-person lounge. Height sits at about 31.5 in, so it feels substantial without dominating the view.

Materials & Build

A sturdy aluminum frame supports a wicker-style woven backrest. The pairing is deliberate: one provides structure, the other brings tactility and warmth. Cushions are finished in a durable fabric that balances density with a smooth hand. Finishes are offered in a refined palette including graphite, wicker fiber, and Inkas white, chosen to work quietly with architecture and light.

Weight is about 79 lb, stable yet manageable for repositioning. It is a single-piece item and not stackable, as a proper daybed should be. The construction keeps the lines clean and the maintenance straightforward.

Comfort

The comfort story begins with the backrest that turns into an armrest. It wraps just enough to support shoulders and arms without boxing in the sitter. The seat sits at roughly 15 in high, easy to settle into and effortless to rise from. Cushions are about 7.5 in thick, so pressure points disappear and the body rests naturally.

It is a lounge that doesn’t ask for adjustment. Drop into the corner, lean, and let the woven curve hold the posture. Long reads and short naps both make sense here.

Placement & Lifestyle

Nido adapts. Slide it against a wall to create a relaxed reading zone, or let it float by a window where the woven profile can be appreciated from every angle. It suits living rooms, suites, studios, and any quiet corner that benefits from a soft landing. The footprint makes it a confident standalone piece, yet it pairs well with a low table and a throw when layering is desired.

Talenti’s relaxed “Premium Alu” attitude is present, but never loud. The piece becomes part of the rhythm of the space rather than the event.

Longevity

Materials were chosen for resilience without losing finesse. Aluminum holds shape through daily use, while the woven element keeps its line and texture over time. Fabric cushions are removable for care, and a tailored cover is available to keep the daybed protected when not in use.

This is the dependable kind of luxury: a steady companion that continues to look and feel right, season after season, within the Nido collection language.
