The Karin 278 sideboard from Capital brings a composed, architectural presence to a room. Its long, low profile, about 109.5 inches in length, sits lightly on metal legs, which lift the volume and keep it from feeling heavy. Four doors run across the front in a clean, uninterrupted rhythm, so the piece reads as one calm, continuous surface.

Leather-wrapped sides frame the wooden body, adding a subtle shift in texture and tone. The proportions feel deliberate: around 34.6 inches high and 21.3 inches deep, the sideboard is generous without overwhelming the space. It is a storage piece that reads as part of the room’s architecture, not just a container for objects.

Materials & Build

Designed by Capital Creative Lab for the Sideboards 2022 collection, Karin 278 is built on a solid wooden frame. The sides are clad in leather, which softens the edges and gives a tailored finish. The top can be specified in marble, wood essence, or lacquer, allowing a more expressive or more discreet look depending on the project.

Metal legs and metallic-finish details underline the structure and add a crisp contrast to the warmer surfaces. Inside, the glossy black finish gives the storage area a polished, unified look when the doors open. Overall weight ranges from approximately 375 to 516 pounds, reflecting the substantial materials used.
