About Nalu Sunbed
Design
The Nalu Sunbed by Talenti brings a clean, retro-informed line to contemporary outdoor lounging. Designed by Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba, it’s the first in its family to integrate armrests into the frame, so the silhouette reads as one continuous gesture. The stance is low and inviting, measuring approximately 82.7 inches long and 37.4 inches wide, with an overall height of 17.7 inches. Nothing fussy. Just proportion, clarity, and a look that settles easily into view.
Materials & Build
A painted aluminum frame provides the structure, engineered for outdoor life without visual bulk. It feels substantial in use yet remains easy to move at roughly 72.8 pounds. The cushion is upholstered in premium outdoor fabric that’s made for open-air settings, with a generous 7.9-inch profile that reads plush rather than puffy. Finishes include red barrè, graphite grey barrè, blue-green barrè, and ivory-beige barrè—quietly distinctive tones that play well with sun and shade.
Comfort
Multi-stage adjustment lets the backrest meet the day: flat for sun, raised for a book, somewhere in between for conversation. The integrated armrests add a natural place to pause a hand or rest a shoulder without reaching for an accessory table. Seat height sits at 15.7 inches, with armrests at 17.7 inches, so transitions feel easy, not abrupt. It’s the simple kind of comfort that invites longer stays and fewer adjustments once the right angle is found.
Placement & Lifestyle
Poolside, terrace, or a quiet lawn—this piece doesn’t ask the space to change for it. The palette helps: graphite grey barrè for architectural settings, ivory-beige barrè for warm stone, blue-green barrè near water, red barrè where a confident accent belongs. It suits private patios as well as luxury resorts that value restraint over flash. And because the footprint is measured, two sit comfortably side by side without crowding the view.
Longevity
Built by Talenti for the outdoors, the construction stays disciplined: aluminum for the frame, performance fabric for the cushion, and a protective cover available when the season turns or the forecast shifts. It’s not stackable, by design—form and comfort take precedence—so plan storage with that in mind. Keep it covered when not in use and it will keep its look. Straightforward care for a sunbed intended to stay in the rotation, year after year.
