About Casilda Modular Sofa
Design with intent
The Casilda Modular Sofa by Talenti brings a clean, architectural attitude to outdoor lounging. Designed by Ramon Esteve, it balances slim profiles with generous surfaces, so the eye reads it as light while the sit feels substantial. The visual rhythm comes from open belts that trace the seat and back, giving structure without bulk. Four interchangeable elements—center, corner, and left or right modules with armrests—let the layout shift from a straight, long sofa to a corner lounge or a chaise-led arrangement. It looks composed in any configuration, which is the point.
Materials and build
A powder-coated stainless steel frame sets a calm, resilient foundation. The distinctive belts are made from outdoor-grade polyester, engineered to endure sun and weather while keeping their shape. Armrests can be finished with refined inlays—choose iroko wood, stonewood, titanium travertine, or silver travertine—to tune texture and tone to the setting. Palette options range from mokka–mélange grey and mokka–beige to gold–white, white–light grey, graphite–grey, graphite–light grey, and graphite–teal blue. Each combination reads understated, never loud.
Comfort in any weather
Quick-dry foam padding offers a comfortable, buoyant sit, then sheds moisture fast after a shower. The belt support keeps seats responsive, not saggy, and the backrests feel naturally aligned. Cushion covers are removable and easy to wash, so upkeep stays simple. And because the textiles are weather-ready, the sofa maintains a crisp look through the season, day in and day out.
Placement and lifestyle
This modular design adapts to the plan, not the other way around. A long, linear setup frames a view on a terrace; a corner composition defines a conversation area on a rooftop; a compact two-module pairing sits neatly on a balcony or by a pool. Left and right modules with armrests bookend a space or float as solo loungers. Choose lighter tones like white–light grey for a breezy mood, or lean into graphite–teal blue for a sharper, modern edge. The sofa is at ease outdoors and works just as well in covered spaces that blur inside and out.
Longevity and care
Durability is built in. The stainless steel frame resists corrosion under a tough powder coat, while outdoor-formulated polyester belts stand up to repeated exposure. Quick-dry foam and weather-resistant covers help the cushions stay fresh with minimal effort; a simple wash cycle keeps them looking new. And because the modules reconfigure as needs change, the Casilda stays relevant as spaces evolve. It’s a considered investment in comfort that keeps its poise over time.
