Frame by Melaaura is built on one idea: an exposed, squared frame of solid wood that carries everything else. Nothing is hidden inside the upholstery — the structure is the design, and it repeats across every piece in the collection so a whole terrace reads as one thought.

The Frame Dining Chair is the collection’s side chair: an upholstered seat and a floating upholstered back panel held inside a squared wooden frame.

The back is set slightly proud of the frame and stops short of the seat, leaving a deliberate gap that keeps the chair visually light around a long table.

Armless, so it can be pulled in close and sat several to a side.

Dimensions. W 51 cm (20.1″) × D 59 cm (23.2″) × H 82 cm (32.3″). Seat height 46 cm (18.1″).
