The Cliff coffee table sits on the braided rope structure that gives the collection its name. The braiding is deliberately broken at intervals so tables of different sizes — or the Cliff sofa seats themselves — can be pushed together and read as one continuous surface.

The top is aluminium and the frame combines aluminium with marine-grade rope, so the visible weave is doing structural work rather than sitting on as decoration. At 35 cm this is the lowest of the three Cliff tables, sized to sit level with a sofa seat.

Designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba. The big, medium and small tables are made to be grouped, and their differing heights are what let a cluster work.
