Vico Magistretti designed R 513 for Gervasoni in the 1980s. It returns to production in collaboration with the Vico Magistretti Foundation, with the language that defined it left intact.

The chair is made in Manau rattan and built from a sequence of vertical elements tied together by a continuous line that folds backrest and armrests into a single gesture.

What carries it is the balance between solid and void — a volume that reads as light without losing definition, and craftsmanship precise enough to preserve the original logic of the design rather than approximate it.
