The AQWAS Side Table belongs to the Amman Heritage Collection, designed by Jamela Alawneh for Melaaura. Aqwas is Arabic for arches, and the piece takes its shape from the historic archways of Amman, Jordan.

A hexagonal top with a raised, rolled rim sits on a hand-woven rattan base, with an arched opening on each of its six sides. A woven stretcher joins the legs below.

It is made as a side table, to stand beside a sofa or a lounge chair, and as a lower, wider coffee table. On both, the raised rim turns the top into a shallow tray.

Available in a wide range of natural rattan finishes, as well as premium synthetic weaving materials designed for outdoor use. Shown in natural rattan and in chestnut brown.

Rattan finish and dimensions can be specified to suit the project. Custom sizing is available on request through Melaaura.
