About AQWAS Ottoman
The AQWAS Ottoman belongs to the Amman Heritage Collection, designed by Jamela Alawneh for Melaaura. Aqwas is Arabic for arches, and the piece takes its shape from the historic archways of Amman, Jordan.
A hand-woven rattan base, with arched openings cut into every side, carries a deep button-tufted cushion with a piped edge.
It works as an ottoman, a pouf or a footstool, or as a low coffee table with a tray on top.
Available in a wide range of natural rattan finishes, as well as premium synthetic weaving materials designed for outdoor use. The cushion is shown in teal, chestnut velvet and burnt orange, and in teal with a corded tassel trim; other fabrics are available on request.
Upholstery, rattan finish and dimensions can be specified to suit the project. Custom sizing is available on request through Melaaura.
