About Omar Bedside Table

Omar’s geometry does not come from a formal gesture. It comes from how the piece is actually used: the bedside table turns towards the person lying in bed, so openings and shelves stay reachable from a reclining position.

That single intuition produces the triangular plan — a shape drawn around the everyday act of reaching for something and putting it back.

The single-material structure holds integrated compartments, open or closed behind a door, in a deliberate play of solids and voids. Specified with a marble top, that surface becomes structural rather than applied.
