The first of the long Nalu dining tables. The top is stoneware worked by hand, so the tiles vary slightly in tone across the surface and the table reads as a range of shades rather than one flat colour — the point of using a craft-finished material at this scale.

The stoneware sits embedded in the aluminium frame rather than resting on it, which keeps the edge clean and the top from lifting.

Designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba. At 88 kg this is a table intended to stay where it is put.
