This is the Cliff lounge armchair specified with a fabric backrest rather than the braided rope used elsewhere in the collection. It is the softer of the two options — upholstered where the rope version is open — and changes the chair from an airy frame into a properly enclosing seat.

The base swivels, so the chair can be turned toward a view or a conversation without being lifted. The frame is aluminium, and the seat is generously padded.

Designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba. A rope-backrest version of the same chair is also made.
