About Toshi Tallboy
Introducing the Toshi Tallboy by Flou, a vertical sculptural statement that goes far beyond the conventional chest of drawers.
Designed by Carlo Colombo, the Toshi Tallboy takes the rounded language of the Toshi family and extends it upward with striking confidence. A perfectly cylindrical tower of drawers, each tier separated by the finest line of polished gold, rises from floor to height with the self-possession of a monumental object. It is a piece that occupies a corner or an alcove the way a column does: with total composure.
The body is finished in a warm taupe lacquer, its surface smooth and continuous across the full height of the piece. The cylinder form means there are no hard edges anywhere, only the gentle, unbroken curve that carries the eye from base to top without interruption. Between each drawer, a hairline of gold marks the transition, adding rhythm and warmth without fracturing the silhouette.
Despite its sculptural presence, the Toshi Tallboy is a thoroughly practical object. Multiple drawers across its height offer generous storage capacity within a minimal footprint, making it an especially considered solution for bedrooms where floor space is precious but the desire for beauty remains uncompromised.
As the vertical counterpart to the Toshi chest, it introduces a fresh perspective on how storage can command a room. It is not merely a tallboy; it is an embodiment of the belief that utility and artistry need never be in opposition and that the most functional objects in a bedroom can also be among its most memorable.
