About Soul Bench

Soft Lines, Strong Presence

The Soul Bench by Talenti is built around one idea: comfort that doesn’t compromise on form. Its continuous, flowing shapes create a silhouette that feels both grounded and light. There are no harsh angles here, no unnecessary details. Just a clean, sculpted profile that holds its own in a room without demanding attention.

Available in two sizes — roughly 79 x 37 inches and 59 x 22 inches — the bench fits naturally into different spaces and configurations. Whether placed alone or alongside other pieces in the Soul collection, it carries the same quiet design language throughout.

Materials and Construction

Underneath the upholstery, a multi-layer wood frame provides the foundation, reinforced by a steel perimeter frame for structural rigidity. The padding is high-density differentiated polyurethane foam paired with polyester fiber — a combination that keeps things supportive without feeling stiff. Back cushions are filled with polyester fiber for a softer, more relaxed feel against the body.

The feet are die-cast aluminium, finished in burnished, chrome, or glossy black. Thermoplastic polymer glides protect floors. And the upholstery options are broad: fabric ranges from Category A through E and LUX, while leather is available in Category F and Category G LUX. That range means the Soul Bench can shift from casual to formal depending on the material chosen.

Comfort Without the Fuss

This is a bench that invites people to sit longer than they planned. The seat height sits at about 17.3 inches, which keeps things relaxed and accessible. The differentiated foam density means the padding responds differently where it needs to — firmer where support matters, softer where the body naturally settles. It’s a considered approach to comfort, not an obvious one.

Where It Works

The two available sizes give it real flexibility. The larger version works well at the foot of a bed, in an entryway, or as a standalone seat in a living area. The smaller one fits tighter spaces — a reading corner, a hallway, a dressing room. Either way, the Talenti Soul Bench doesn’t try too hard. It just sits well in a space and looks right.

It pairs naturally with the rest of the Soul collection, but it doesn’t depend on it. The design is self-contained enough to work on its own terms, in rooms with a completely different aesthetic. That kind of adaptability is rare in a piece this specific.

Built to Stay

The combination of a steel-reinforced wood frame, high-density foam, and die-cast aluminium feet means this bench is made for daily use over years. Weighing between roughly 18 and 40 pounds depending on the size, it’s substantial enough to feel permanent but not so heavy it can’t be moved. The upholstery categories also allow for reupholstering down the line, which extends the life of the piece even further. It’s furniture built with longevity in mind — not as a selling point, but as a baseline expectation.
