About Marvin Pouf
Quiet Design, Clear Intent
The Marvin Pouf by Talenti is the kind of piece that doesn’t announce itself. It sits low, clean, and balanced — shaped by the same proportions and restrained lines that run through the entire Marvin collection. At roughly 47 by 41 inches, it’s generous enough to work as an extra seat, a footrest, or a natural extension of the sofa. But it never crowds a room. It just fills the gap you didn’t know was there.
Materials That Hold Up
Underneath the upholstery, the frame combines solid wood and multi-layer wood construction, reinforced by a steel perimeter frame. Seat support comes from elastic webbing, which gives the structure a responsive, even feel. The padding is high-density differentiated polyurethane foam layered with polyester fiber — firm where it needs to be, soft where it counts.
Upholstery options run wide. Fabric is available across multiple categories, from A through E and up to LUX. And for those who prefer leather, there are additional categories including a LUX tier. The steel frame comes in three finishes: burnished, chrome, or glossy black. Feet are made from thermoplastic polymer, durable and easy on floors.
Comfort Without Compromise
The seat height sits at about 17 inches, with a cushion height around 8.5 inches. That puts it right in line with most contemporary sofas, so it works naturally as a seating extension. The polyester fiber cushioning keeps things comfortable whether someone sits for five minutes or settles in for an evening. It’s not overly soft. It’s supportive in the way good upholstered furniture should be.
Where It Belongs
This is a piece built for flexibility. Pull it up next to a sectional, set it in the middle of a conversation area, or use it as a surface for a tray and a couple of books. The Marvin Pouf adapts to different layouts without requiring much thought. Its scale and shape give it a quiet authority — present enough to be useful, understated enough to never feel like too much.
It works well in living rooms, family rooms, large bedrooms, even well-appointed lounge spaces. The range of upholstery and finish options makes it easy to integrate into both warm and cool palettes.
Built to Stay
Weighing in at around 53 pounds, this is a solidly constructed piece. The combination of wood frame, steel reinforcement, and quality foam means it holds its shape over time. Fabrics and leathers across the available categories are selected for resilience, and the construction details — elastic webbing, layered padding — point to a pouf designed for daily use, not just occasional styling. Talenti built this one to be lived with.
