About Alma Modular Sofa
Soft Geometry, Sharp Design
The Alma Modular Sofa by Talenti takes a simple idea — continuous, flowing shapes — and builds an entire seating system around it. Each module curves gently into the next, creating a landscape of soft volumes that feels cohesive no matter the configuration. There are no hard breaks or awkward joints. Just one uninterrupted line that moves through the room with quiet confidence.
The proportions are deliberately generous but never heavy. Balanced volumes keep things visually light, even when the layout stretches across a large living area. It looks grounded without looking bulky. And the low-profile silhouette, with a seat height of approximately 15.7 inches, reinforces that sense of relaxed sophistication.
What It’s Made Of
Underneath the upholstery, the frame combines multilayer and solid wood — a pairing that gives each module both rigidity and resilience. Seat support comes from elastic webbing, which distributes weight evenly and holds up well over time. The structural padding is high-density differentiated polyurethane foam layered with polyester fiber, so the cushions keep their shape without feeling stiff.
Back cushions are filled with polyester fiber for a softer, more relaxed feel. The feet are tubular steel finished in glossy black, capped with thermoplastic polymer to protect flooring. Individual modules range from roughly 92 lbs to about 145 lbs depending on the piece, so they’re substantial enough to stay put once placed. Fabric upholstery is available across several categories — A, B, C, D, E, and LUX — offering a wide range of textures and tones to work with.
Comfort That Doesn’t Ask You to Sit Up Straight
Alma is built for informal living. The deep seat and generous cushioning invite you to settle in rather than perch. It’s the kind of sofa where you end up staying longer than planned. The padding strikes a good balance — supportive enough to feel structured, soft enough to feel indulgent. Back cushions give just the right amount of give, letting you lean back without disappearing into the sofa entirely.
A System That Adapts
The modular format is where Alma really earns its place. The collection includes oblique modules, end pieces in two sizes, and both left- and right-hand configurations. That means it can shape itself around corners, stretch along a wall, or float in the center of a room as an open composition. It suits large entertaining spaces just as easily as smaller, more considered layouts.
Because every module shares the same design language, adding or rearranging pieces down the line is straightforward. The sofa grows with the space — or changes when the space does. It’s a practical kind of flexibility wrapped in a very refined package.
Built to Last, Not Just to Look Good
The combination of solid and multilayer wood framing, steel feet, and high-density foam means the Talenti Alma is built for daily use over years, not just showroom admiration. The elastic webbing won’t sag the way cheaper support systems tend to. And the range of fabric categories means owners can choose materials that match how they actually live — whether that’s a household with kids and pets or a more formal setting where aesthetics come first.
