Venere Pouf and Bench

About Venere Pouf and Bench

Design & Concept

Venere is conceived as a clear, architectural walk-in closet system. Lines stay clean, proportions feel balanced, and every segment has a purpose. Nothing looks ornamental for its own sake. The structure reads almost like a quiet framework that lets clothing, shoes, and accessories stand in focus. It is about order, visibility, and an easy daily routine rather than showy gestures.

Developed by Capital Creative Lab for the Walk-In Closet 2015 collection, the Venere composition works as a flexible backdrop to a private dressing space. Containers, trays, and dedicated units shape a layout that can stay minimal or become very complete, depending on the client’s brief.

Materials & Build

The system is built on a solid wooden structure, giving the walk-in its sense of stability and presence. Metal profiles define the geometry, outlining each module with a precise, linear rhythm. These metal elements are paired with a frame in leather, adding a softer touch where the hand naturally meets the furniture.

Drawers can be finished in leather or in wood essence, allowing a choice between a warm tactile feel or a more classic cabinetmaker look. Every component is designed to work together visually, so the mix of wood, metal, and leather reads as one coherent whole.

Comfort in Daily Use

Venere by Capital is not about comfort in a soft, upholstered sense. Its comfort comes from clarity and access. Trays keep small pieces in sight, drawers glide out to reveal everything at once, and shoe racks, trouser units, and shirt compartments help avoid the usual morning search.

The layout can be organized to follow how a person actually gets dressed, so the space feels intuitive over time. The system supports routine rather than interrupting it.

Placement & Lifestyle

The Venere system is designed for a dedicated walk-in room or a generous closet niche. It works best where there is a wish to keep clothing and accessories visible yet composed. And because the width and configuration are customized on client request, the design can adapt to different architectural conditions without losing its character.

It suits both a private master suite and a guest area that needs a more considered storage solution. The look is understated enough to sit quietly behind sliding doors, but strong enough to remain uncovered if the closet is left open to the bedroom.

Longevity & Customization

The combination of a wooden structure, metal profiles, and leather elements gives the Venere walk-in closet a reassuring sense of durability. These are materials chosen to handle daily use, from opening drawers repeatedly to moving hangers and shoes in and out.

Because Capital builds Venere to customized dimensions and configurations, each installation is planned for long-term use. The system can reflect the client’s specific wardrobe habits from the start, reducing the need to constantly reorganize or add makeshift storage later on.
