The Oxford pouf from Capital brings the language of the Oxford seating family into a compact, versatile piece. Its look is defined by the play between a firm architectural base and a suspended, cushioned volume above. The result is a seat that appears light but feels grounded in the room. It sits comfortably alongside the Oxford sofas and armchair, or works on its own as a quiet focal point.

Materials & Build

Designed by Capital Creative Lab for the Pouf 2024 collection, Oxford is built on a sturdy metal structure that anchors the form. Around it, a leather shell can be specified, with upholstery in fabric or leather for the seat and upper volume. It can also be finished with internal upholstery in fabric or smooth leather, with the exterior in quilted or smooth fabric or leather, depending on the desired character. Finishes span Capital’s selection of metals, fabrics, and leathers, allowing Oxford to sit easily within an existing palette.

The pouf measures approximately 30.3 inches wide, 29.5 inches deep, and 18.5 inches high, with a seat height of 18.5 inches. At about 55.1 pounds, it has reassuring substance without feeling immovable.

Oxford is shaped for a soft, enveloping presence. The proportions offer a generous, almost square surface that works as an extra seat, a relaxed perch, or a place to rest the legs.
