Clori Chest of Drawer

About Clori Chest of Drawer

Design

The Clori chest of drawers sits in the bedroom with a quiet confidence. Designed by Margherita Fanti for the 2025 Chest of Drawers collection, it follows the same language as the bed, console, pouf and bedside table in the series. Lines are fluid rather than rigid, with enveloping shapes that soften the volume and give it a sense of lightness. Proportions are carefully balanced, so the piece feels substantial yet calm, never heavy in the room.

Materials & Build

Clori is built around a clear palette of wood, metals and marbles. The structure in wood brings warmth and a natural tactility. Metal details introduce a precise, contemporary accent. Marble surfaces add a more exclusive note, catching the light in a subtle way rather than shouting for attention.

The chest measures about 71 inches wide, 31.5 inches high and 20.5 inches deep. It weighs roughly 386 pounds, with a volume of around 26.5 cubic feet. The generous scale is obvious, but the smooth transitions between planes and the rounded lines keep the piece visually light. Everything about the build suggests stability and care in construction.

Everyday Ease

This is a storage piece designed to support daily rituals without fuss. The surfaces invite touch, and the shapes guide the hand naturally. Nothing feels sharp or abrupt. There is a quiet order to the way it holds clothing and personal objects, helping the bedroom stay composed, even on busy days. And because the design is so clear, it never fights with what is placed on top.

Placement & Lifestyle

In a master suite, guest room or a more open sleeping area, the chest easily anchors the wall it leans against. It pairs effortlessly with the matching bed, console, pouf and bedside table, forming a consistent visual thread across the room. The overall impression is one of sophisticated lightness and exclusive charm, without feeling staged.

Longevity

The mix of wood, metal and marble, together with the substantial weight, gives the piece a reassuring solidity. It looks built to stay in place for years, not seasons. The design is distinctive yet restrained, so it can move with changing color palettes and textiles. In that sense, Clori fits the quiet, enduring quality associated with Capital, made to live gracefully in a space over time.
