Trilogy Nightstand

About Trilogy Nightstand

Design

The Trilogy nightstand sits in the room with a calm, confident presence. Its structure is deliberately pared back, letting the proportions and surfaces do the work. The sides bring a gentle sense of warmth and composure, giving the piece a quiet sophistication that suits both classic and contemporary bedrooms.

What gives it real character is the silhouette. A thin metal line runs around the form, almost like a sketch in the air, tracing and framing the volume without weighing it down. It is a simple gesture, but it sharpens the overall look and makes the bedside feel considered from every angle.

Materials & Build

Designed by Boatto Martino Studio for Capital’s Bedsides 2016 collection, Trilogy is built around an essential structure that favors clarity over fuss. The construction is solid yet visually light, so it does not feel bulky beside the bed. Metal handles and details underline the geometry and tie back to that metal outline that defines the piece.

The nightstand can be finished in wood, marble, leather, and metals, allowing it to move from understated to more expressive depending on the selected combination. At approximately 24 inches wide, 23.6 inches high, and 17.7 inches deep, with a weight range of about 60 to 84 pounds and a volume near 10.6 cubic feet, it has a reassuring physicality without overpowering the space.

Comfort & Daily Use

Comfort on a bedside is all about touch and access. Trilogy answers that with a single drawer wrapped in leather, bringing a soft, tactile moment to the ritual of reaching for what is needed at night. The cool feel of the metal handle against the warmth of the leather creates a small, satisfying contrast each time the drawer is opened or closed.

Placement & Lifestyle

This piece works best where the bedroom is treated as a complete setting rather than an afterthought. Its measured scale suits a variety of bed heights and room sizes, from compact city bedrooms to more generous suites. Trilogy sits comfortably on its own or as a pair, flanking a bed without shouting for attention.

The mix of wood, marble, leather, and metal finishes lets it align with existing furniture or anchor a new scheme. It can read as more formal with marble, more relaxed with warm wood and leather, yet the overall language stays consistent and composed.

Longevity

The design is guided by clear lines and honest materials, which helps it age well. Surfaces in wood, marble, and leather gain character over time rather than losing appeal, while the metal details keep the piece visually crisp. Trilogy from Capital is built to remain in the room for years, quietly performing its role night after night without feeling dated or overworked.
