About Must Coffee table
Design
The Must coffee table by Capital stands out through a clear, graphic silhouette. A double top creates a subtle architectural play of levels, giving everyday objects a quiet stage rather than competing with them. At about 35.4 inches by 35.4 inches, it feels generous without taking over the room.
Curved metal legs lift the structure visually, lightening the overall volume and drawing a crisp, contemporary line. The result is a table that looks considered from every angle, yet stays relaxed enough for daily living.
Materials & Build
Designed by Capital Creative Lab in 2016 for the Coffee Tables collection, Must is grounded in a simple pairing of wood and metal. The double top is available in a wood essence finish or in a lacquered version, allowing two distinct readings of the same form.
The metal legs bring strength and stability to the composition. With a height of roughly 20.5 inches and a weight close to 101 pounds, the table feels reassuring and substantial, not fragile. Its overall volume is about 17.7 cubic feet, so it carries presence without feeling oversized.
Comfort in Use
Must is designed to sit naturally in front of a sofa or lounge chair. The height keeps everything within easy reach, from a morning coffee to evening glasses and a book left open.
The square top offers a comfortable central zone for a tray or centerpiece, while still leaving clear corners for everyday items. Nothing about it feels precious or overly staged; it simply works with how people actually use a living room.
Placement & Lifestyle
This Capital table adapts quietly to different interiors. In the wood essence finish, it pairs easily with soft textiles and warm palettes. In lacquer, it leans more graphic and urban, ideal for cleaner, more minimal rooms.
Its proportions suit both compact apartments and larger open spaces, whether placed in front of a two-seater sofa or anchoring a generous seating island. The curved legs help it sit lightly in the room, so the area never feels crowded.
Longevity
Must is built as a long-term piece, not a seasonal accent. The combination of a solid-feeling double top and metal base gives a reassuring durability for daily use.
Both the wood and lacquered finishes are chosen for a composed, enduring look rather than a passing trend. Over time, the table is meant to stay quiet and reliable in the background, supporting the room as everything around it evolves.
