Dedalo Coffee table

About Dedalo Coffee table

Design

The Dedalo coffee table presents a clear, confident silhouette: about 31.5 inches wide, 27.6 inches deep, and 16.1 inches high. The low profile keeps the room feeling open while still anchoring the seating area. Lines are straightforward and calm, with a balanced footprint that sits easily in front of a sofa or paired with lounge chairs. Designed by Capital Creative Lab in 2022, it reflects a contemporary viewpoint that doesn’t try too hard. It simply looks right in place, from the first glance.

Capital keeps the aesthetic flexible. Dedalo can lean warm and tactile in wood, more graphic and sleek in lacquer, or more formal with the optional marble top. The result is a table that adapts to the tone of the room rather than dictating it.

Materials & Build

The structure is offered either in wood or in a lacquered finish, matched by a wooden or lacquered top. This keeps the piece visually unified and gives designers room to tune color and texture. The base comes in a metal finish, adding a subtle contrast and a sense of grounding that suits the table’s proportions.

For projects that call for a stronger statement, the optional marble top shifts the character instantly. It introduces natural veining and a cooler touch while resting on the same solid frame. Underneath, the overall weight, approximately 99 to 132 pounds, hints at a substantial build and reassuring stability.

Comfort in Everyday Use

At around 16.1 inches high, Dedalo keeps everything comfortably within reach. Guests don’t have to lean too far for a drink, a book, or a laptop. The surface area is generous enough for a tray and a few objects, yet compact enough not to dominate the room. It supports daily rituals without cluttering them.

Placement & Lifestyle

With its measured scale, the table works well in both compact apartments and larger living rooms. It can sit centered in front of a sofa, or slightly off-axis in more relaxed layouts. The cleaner lacquered versions feel at home in urban spaces, while wood or marble read naturally in more layered interiors.

The piece occupies roughly 7.1 cubic feet of volume, which helps when planning layouts or coordinating with other furniture. It is substantial enough to visually anchor a seating group, yet easy to pair with armchairs, side tables, or a soft rug.

Longevity

The mix of sturdy structure and metal-finish base gives the Dedalo coffee table a durable presence suited for everyday use. Surfaces in wood, lacquer, or marble are chosen for interiors where people actually live, not just look. With simple care—coasters for drinks, a soft cloth for cleaning—the table is designed to hold its character over time, aging along with the room rather than aging out of it.
