Grand-Q Coffee table

About Grand-Q Coffee table

Design

The Grand-Q coffee table by Capital sits comfortably within the brand’s 2021 Coffee Tables collection, designed by Boatto Martino Studio to coordinate with sofas, armchairs and poufs from the Grand system. Its generous footprint, about 40.6 by 40.6 inches, gives presence without overwhelming the room. At roughly 11.8 inches high, it keeps a low, calm profile that works naturally in front of deep seating.

There is no unnecessary gesture here. The design is clean, with the focus on proportion and the quiet play between top and base. It feels considered, yet easy to live with, whether placed alone or paired with other elements from the Capital living room range.

Materials & Build

Grand-Q offers a choice of top in marble or wood, letting the user decide between a cooler, more architectural surface or the warmth of timber. The base can be finished in leather, fabric, or wood, so the table adapts to different interiors while keeping the same clear structure. Metals, leathers, woods, and marbles are all part of the finishing palette, giving the piece a distinctly high-end attitude.

Nothing feels fragile. The table’s weight ranges from about 132 to 198 pounds, depending on configuration, which gives it reassuring stability in daily use.

Comfort & Use

Though it is a coffee table, comfort still matters. The low height makes it easy to reach from a sofa or armchair, whether for a book, a tray or a laptop. The broad surface offers ample room for everyday objects, yet still leaves space for a few carefully chosen pieces.

Placement & Lifestyle

With a volume of around 17.7 cubic feet, the Grand-Q occupies space with intention but not excess. It is meant to sit at the heart of a living area, in conversation with Capital sofas and armchairs, or to anchor a more eclectic setting just as well.

The mix-and-match material options help it move from formal living rooms to more relaxed spaces. It can read as quiet and tonal, or as a subtle focal point, depending on the finishes chosen.

Longevity

Marble, wood, leather, fabric, and metal are chosen for their lasting appeal as much as for their look. With the right care, these materials age with character rather than simply wearing out. The Grand-Q by Capital is built as a long-term part of the home, not a temporary accent.

Its solid build, thoughtful proportions and adaptable finishes suggest a piece designed to stay relevant as the surrounding room evolves over time.
